It’s that time again, when the world’s largest dog show takes over our screens. Yes, Crufts 2015 starts today and we’re super excited. The show is broadcast on Channel 4 and More4 and this year the show will be shown live on the official Crufts YouTube channel; great news for those not travelling to the NEC in Birmingham to watch the show live.

Crufts is always great entertainment for dog owners and dog lovers of all ages. The show attracts fans from all over the UK and abroad, who attend to watch the show, or to compete for the multiple rosettes and of course the coveted Champion of Crufts 2015 trophy.  The title went to Rocky the Poodle in 2014 and his handle Jason Lynn. Rocky, the two year old Standard Poodle, was able to fight off major competition from a Pomeranian, American Cocker Spaniel, Samoyed, Irish Wolfhound, Wire Fox Terrier and a Rottweiler.

Over 21,000 dogs are going to be attending Crufts 2015, all hoping to bring home the Best in Show title. Numerous events take place over the four days, such as the:

  • Breed groups
  • Agility
  • Flyball
  • Heelwork
  • Obedience

It’s a wonderful show that reminds all dog owners about the importance of exercise and training is to the overall health and well-being of dogs. The show also acts as inspiration, showing the world what abilities dogs have and how much fun dogs and their owners can have together.

Crufts begins today, March 5 and ends on March 9, 2015. Will you be watching the show with your dogs?
